VCDS Scan Power Steering Help

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have VCDS Lite and would like to scan my power steering as it is currently not working. I went through the modules but couldn't see where I would fine the power steering information. The car is 2006 Fabia VRS.

I'd like to work out if it is a sensor, power steering pump, wiring (already changed battery).

Many thanks

Kev

Hi All,

I did a VCDS Scan and the results are below. I have no warning light on the dash.

The only thing I can see on the scan is Group 004 which says to Too Low which I think is the steer aid sensor reference voltage. What does this mean? Any help would be really appreciated. I have already changed the battery as I was hoping that was the issue.

Thanks Kev

Hi

You need to check wiring to steering sensor for any faults and possibly you will have to renew steer sensor,You are correct that measuring block 4.3 is steer aid sensor voltage to low, Also see Ross Tech Wiki description as follows.
