Skoda Breakdown Assist

Featured Replies

So got in the car this morning started to drive it and noticed I were getting a knocking noise when the wheels were moving. Called Skoda and gave them a piece of my mind (as I have had endless of problems) then called the breakdown.

It would appear the plastic cover that covers the positive terminal had come off and got lodged causing the noise.

I have not had a complete battery cover since it went in for a flywheel so that is why the plastic positive cover came off. I am going to leave it off now don't fancy that again.

Anyone know what damages can be caused by having the terminals exposed? if none then I will just leave it.

None. Get some decent grease on them to keep them protected. Vaseline will work the same i belive.
