200bhp+ advice

Featured Replies

Hi guys new to the forum and was wanting some advice from experts or people who have this already

I'm looking for 200+ bhp

Currently I have a full decat exhaust , panel filter and stage 1 map.

I understand to get 200 I need a pd150 turbo from the golf, front mount and stage 2 ??

Is there anything else I need and any advice would be great oh and it's had a new clutch in already aswell

Thanks guys

Hi Big deano.

I have seen this topic at least 3 times, do a search bud - You will find what you are looking for.

As above....

But yes that's all you need for roughly 210-220bhp.

Thought a pd150 was good for 190 safely? Go hybrid or go home i say ;)

My bad haha, yeah I meant those figures on a Hybrid.

PD160 refers to the air intake from a Leon Cupra it fits straight onto the Fabia. I noticed a difference on mine but others say for the price it isn't worth the effort.

Ibiza Cupra, Leon Cupra is only a PD150 :nerd:

PD160, being the BPX and BUK engines found in the EU3 and EU4 Ibiza Cupra TDI's, and the turbo's are very similar to the PD150 turbos. As already mentioned above, a hybrid of the PD150/160 turbo, will safely support sufficient air to see 200bhp.
