Stupid low without bags

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I'm stuck as what to do, I currently have weitec coilovers but they just wont go low enough on the rears the adjuster for the spring is turned all the way to the bottom. Anything you can suggest to get it lower maybe using different springs or getting shorter springs made maybe. I need it lower by about 2" obviously I would be in the realms of getting shorter struts but I would cross that bridge if needed, Obviously I don't want to bag it as seems stupid just to bag the rears.

Taking the adjusters out just sounds a sketchy as cutting the springs! Only worry is that the dampers are riding pretty much on the bump stop already so surely if i take the adjuster out it could cause the damper issues as it would be to low?

Might just have to get a set of jom's just for the back.

Yeah, riding the bump stops is bad, mmmkay? Read my other post about springs vs coilies and the effect of cutting down bump stops for more infos.

Talking of bump stops, you know anyone that does shorter ones because I can only find mk3 ones and obviously I don't want to start cutting them up!
