door mirror dismantling & removal

I had the driver's side door mirror knocked off whilst parked on the street - various bits are broken but the car-colour (silver in my case) cap bit seems fine. I have bought a replacement which is black & would like to swap over the silver cap over so it matches the car & the passenger-side mirror. is this possible? I have had a look but I don't seem to get it off

also, do I have to remove the door car to swap the mirror assembly?

Hi. I've just had the touchscreen replaced and happy to say everything is all working again with the exception of the clock which is stuck at 12:00. The second hand is still working though. The time on the dashboard behind the steering wheel is working fine and can be adjusted. Can anyone please advise me ho to adjust the clock on the touchscreen when it is in standby mode? Many thanks.

Hi guys, Just bought a 2020 Octavia and end up stuck in a seemingly infinite "Please wait..." loop when trying to become the primary user on the infotainment. I was able to set up an account on the MySkoda app and add my car's VIN. I then get to the "activate vehicle" stage and it directs me to continue on the infotainment. My email/password has been added as a user, but any time I tap into "become primary user" it just hangs and says "please wait...". I've tried it with the car's eSIM active,
