Just to say hello - with a small question!

Featured Replies

Hi!

Just joined the world of Skoda with an Octavia SE Connect last week - very impressed!

Working my way through all the features, but now have a question, sorry if has been answered before but I couldn't see it.

I have successfully hooked up my mobile phone through the MaxiDOT, which works fine, but now I cannot seem to get back to any other MaxiDOT screens to show mpg, range etc, even if I don't connect the phone. Is there a way to do it please or am I stuck with the phone menu for life?

Thanks in advance, very pleased with the car.

Peter

Hi Peter and welcome along

Do you have the MFSW? If so you could try pressing the return button on there and that should bring up the whole menu then you can scroll through and select what you want. I'm not completely sure though as I don't have bluetooth but there will be a way of doing it so don't worry, you'll just have to wait for someone more knowledgable than I to come along

Thanks Briskodian

I have the MaxiDOT and Bolero. Day off today so popped into the dealer, partly to book car in for an exhaust inspection warning light which came on yesterday morning and doesn't want to go off and was shown how I needed to change my technique! Press and hold bottom of rocker switch on the end of the wiper stalk, rather than pressing the middle - silly me, anyway sorted now, thanks..

Welcome from me too. :)

Hi and welcome aboard.

Evening! Out of interest what solved the exhaust inspection warning light? It's just lit up on my wife's octavia mk2 pd tdi and yet it seems to rev and drive just fine...? Any ideas?
