Whilst I'm enjoying the peace on a cold start as it's knackered anyway it does'nt come on at all now, was random for a few days now nothing.

Before you all start telling me to remove it etc, I can't be arsed right now !!

Done with VCDS output test and it does run then so I guess pump and wiring all ok.

No codes, no nothing ??

Temp sensor ?? Looks fine to me in VCDS and Torque, but it's dual type sender so could be borked still I guess.

Any offers on whats up ??

I don't think mine is quite right either as mine only comes on when the outside temp is hotter. Since the cold mornings I don't hear it at all.

Hmmm I don't remember it not working when cold, the whole point is to warm the cat quicker, goes against logic for it not too work on a cold morning!!

It doesn't come on first time I start the car in the morning but if I go out at lunch it will sound then and then the same when I go home.

Sounds like ambient temperature controls, wierd, I don't remember it not doing it before.

Oh well case closed, I'll enjoy the silence !!
