Welcome Jabbasport

Featured Replies

A big warm welcome to Jabbasport, there is plenty written about Jabba on this site -- it has to be said all positive as well.

It will be good to get occasional feedback / comments / advice from the guy's at Jabba.I am looking forward to my visit in August and will be interested to see / feel the difference once Mike & Co have had their wicked way with my Skud Missile.

Welcome to Briskoda

What are you having done to it? I would like to see more info about 280bhp+ 1.8t's.

Well at first it was going to remain standard, then I found Briskoda and lot's of people were enthusing about their cars post Jabba.

So I booked for a remap & new DV valve, now I will be fitting a complete Milltek system inc cats and most likely a Jabba intake kit(although I have not checked availability yet).

Not sure what to expect power wise with these mods - but know will have Very large grin on the long drive home.......

Trust you are going to fit all the bits before the remap, also are you going to run super or Optimax, if yes probably worth running a couple of tanks through before the remap.

Yes will be fitting before -- always use super unleaded anyway - not sure using optimax is worth the extra.

Regards

If you want 280+bhp you're going to have to change the turbo. Check out the Jabba web site for details and if you're really interested give Mike a call.

Seen their Ibiza demo; running 350+bhp at the moment and Mike is in the process of raising this.

I'm trying out 3 tanks of Optimax and then 1 tank of unleaded. Running unleaded at the moment and for some reason the car feels very good; I thought it would be a little rougher and have less urgency. Opposite in fact.

Stuart:

have you had any luck in finding a mod friendly dealer round our way?

Cheers.

Adrian.

you dont have to change the turbo.... you could flow the head and manifold with similar results.... in theory...

If you flowed the head and manifold would the standard K03S turbo, have enough puff to take advantage of the better flow?

Just interested.

I was wondering whether anybody has swaped the K03S for the K04 off the TT (there are apparently 2 types of K04 and the TT one is bigger:confused: )? Remapped TTs see 270+bhp.

in theory yes.. the 1.8 t has very a restrictive head and manifold ther turbo would breathe easier and thus work less hard to move the air?
