SOLD. 312mm Brake conversion upgrade for Yeti, Superb 2, Octavia 2 with FERODO DS2500 pads and carriers

Featured Replies

Hi all, due to my recent power/brake upgrade I have for sale my original setup consisting of:

Genuine OE Skoda Octavia VRS MK2 312mm front disks

Ferodo DS2500 pads

Genuine OE VAG carriers (enabling your caliper to be repositioned for clearance over the bigger disks - makes it all a simple bolt on upgrade)

This combination is exceptional and gives very assured results. Personally, I found this setup gave better results than the 345mm S3 setup I previously had!!

It should be a simple bolt on job for a Yeti, Superb 2 or Octavia 2 as well as a good number of other VAG group vehicles using the 5 x 112 stud pattern. These fitted under my 16" steel wheels and 17" OE alloys with no problem but please check to confirm for your own application. Please note, the calipers ARE NOT INCLUDED - they arent needed for the upgrade and should be the same as the ones fitted on standard 288mm etc setups. You dont even have to bleed the brake system as you arent removing the calipers from the lines.

The setup has been in place for so few miles that there is no actual visual lip on the disks. I have tried to photograph the disks to show this lack of wear. The disks and pads have many good miles in them yet. :)

The disks cost me just over £100 from the Skoda dealers, the carriers were just under £200, the pads were £145 from JKM. Im asking for £200 for pick up or £220 including carriage , paid via bank transfer or cash on collection. Please PM if interested. :)

I'll have them for the wife's Yeti.

Will save me upgrading mine and transfering my 312mm set up over. :)
