Wet floor and Loss of coolant

Featured Replies

Helloo,

My fleicia pickup appears to have wet underneith the carpets on both sides of the cab. I ahve heard the drainage holes sometimes clog up and was wondering where about these are? I would like to find them and check if they are blocked.

Also every week or so I am loosing all the collant out of the exspansion chamber! Theres no smoke from the exhaust and the oil on the dipstick appears to be fine! There is no puddles when left overnight and was wondering what this could be? Appears to only loose alot when I drive long distances?

Any help on these issues would be greatly apreciated.

Thanks

Did it all start around the same time?

Sounds like could be a leaky heater matrix.

+1 matrix

^ Ditto, first thought that came to mind before I'd looked at the replies. The quality of the water/liquid retained in the cab should confirm. The absence of coolant loss may have suggested a leaking windscreen seal.

 The heater matrix is under the bonnet near the wiper motor [brilliant design] on the Favorit and Felicia so if it leaks it shouldn't soak the carpets.

Wasn't the heater matrix was just a very bad pipe coming from the oil cooler. Floor still getting wet grrr

do you mean the floor behind the seats? mine did that too, it was corrosion where the bed met the bulkhead panel and the water would run through the tiny pin holes... keeping the drain holes in the bed clear helps to prevent this
