SOLD-HTC Sensation XE unlocked with headphones

Featured Replies

Hey folks.

As per title.

HTC Sensation XE.

Unlocked (was on Orange originally but unlocked in the process of rooting. I believe this in permanent too should you wish to un-root for warranty purposes).

Rooted running ARHD XE ROM (excellent speed, smoothness and battery life).

Comes in original box, charger, beats headphones and pretty sure an 4GB card

The bad bits:

A few light scratches on the screen (other half's attitude; "well it's got gorilla glass hasn't it?!")- These aren't really visible with the screen on and seem to pretty much disappear under a screen protector. Just noticeable under bright light.

A few light scratches on the rear cover

A light scuff on bottom right of cover

Some light chipping of paint from left of cover bezel

The forward skip button on the headphones doesn't work. I had a look and it needs something under the button to make it click the button underneath.

The damage to the cover isn't major as you can buy new covers pretty cheaply off ebay (even white ones if that takes your fancy!)

£150 inc. special delivery.

If you are paying by paypal and you will have to cover the fees please.

Thanks

Does rooting unlock the handset? or is that only if a custom ROM has been installed over the top

Rooting and a custom rom don't have any bearing on the phone being unlocked.

What does allow you to unlock is the s-off and rooting procedure which allows you to retrieve the unlock code for the phone using a simple ADB command. It is then permanently unlocked no matter what ROM you use etc.
