Picked the car up from the driver (54reg octavia tdi overheating) and pow expansion tank full of oil gunk. Checked the oil cap and dip stick both are normal looking.

Im told it was flushed last week in our garage new filters oil etc the driver done one hire and stopped at the drop because of hissing noise and under inspection it was like that. Says it got to 90 and he turned it off. Same guy said the locks had glue in as the key wouldnt fit. Worked fine for me lmfao

There is a product from a company called Forte which I have found to be fairly reasonable at removing oily crud from cooling systems. Once you get it something like clean, drop a couple of dishwasher tablets in the header tank & take it for a blast round. Should be ok then so long as the cause is cured first.

Yeah, either head gasket or you've got a cracked head at the very least there judging by the amount of oil that's migrated its way into your coolant.

Head off, and you'll have to make sure the head and the piston liners are looking good and that the head and block isn't warped or cracked.

thats my guess too, get it tested, garages can do a chemical test for this

Sniffer kits can be had pretty cheaply these days. ;)
