Hi all im john, just bought a mk1 vrs and i love it. It has been remapped acording to the previous owner. I was wondering what boost a standard engine makes. unsure what remap it has he said it has been remapped for low down power and torque. If anyone knows what these cars run standard it would be really helpful.

I believe it to be around 9 psi.

My car is remapped and hitting 20psi... Grab boost gauge from halfords, will know where you stand then

I've fitted a fabia vrs map sensor and tweeked the boost on mine. Peaks at 16 psi then settles at 14 psi. Temp measure til I can afford me a remap
