Hi all went to look at my newly delivered Monty only to find the maxidot I asked for hasn’t been fitted at the factory.

Dealer has offered to fit the maxi as I am not keen on waiting another 2 to 3 months.

Any way the question is if the dealer fits the maxidot I am I going to miss out on any features that may have being available if factory fitted

Nope maxidot speedometers and speedometers overall don't have to do anything with your car's features. The difference is that with the maxidot you will get more info from your car in contrast with a plain standard speedometer. For example if a door is left open maxidot displays which spesific door that is, all other speedometers just show that a door is open and that is it. That is one of many features that get displayed through maxidot.

Spoke to Skoda uk regarding the maxi dot coming with the Amundson + and was informed over the phone that it did, even the dealer rung to confirm.

Upon looking at the car at the dealers, it had been shipped without them fitting the maxi dot and the dealer is now going to fit it for me.

so is it possible to retrofit a maxidot to any fabia with the smaler display? if so how much compared to the £150 option price?
