Tonight on my journey home from work, the glowplug symbol started flashing at me, after a bit of research the rear brake lights are all functioning correctly, as I read on here the flashing symbol can mean the brake switch is goosed.

Anybody ever had to buy any new glowplugs for their car?

I'm shocked to be honest as my car has only covered 41000 miles.

Cheers in advance for any input.

The glow plug light is just acting as an engine management light. It could be anything, get the codes read ASAP.

Yeah read the codes. Doubt its the glow plugs

+3 on the codes.

Good that a bit of research made your brake lights work. I might try meditation for my drivers door switch :giggle:

41k maybe, but these cars are what, between 5 and 9 years old? You can do a lot of starts in that time and 41k miles....
