 Hi all, I'm an antique but new to this forum, I joined in the hope of getting some advice about the (apparently) well documented problem concerning the ESP/ABS warning lights. My 06 Octavia estate developed this a few months ago and my local expert told me that as long as it was only the ESP light that was on, it would not fail it's MOT. I now learn that ESP is about to become a legal requirement on all new cars so I expect that it will also be required to be in working order in order to pass the MOT. The big question is, if that happens, will Skoda then be obliged to do a recall (as they should have done when the problem first arose). P.S. I'm not holding my breath

Morning Geordie 777 and welcome along

I don't honestly know, sorry. Try asking in the Mk I Octy forum
