D2s bulbs with ballasts and the d2s apapter leads to wire the existing wiring to the new set up. Or hids with d2s leads already incorporated. You'll want 4300k if you want oem looking lights aswell.

I just used a slim d2s kit, 6k but a little too blue for me.

Fair enough on the waiting time etc, but where do you think 95% of HID kits are made?

So would this d2s kit be alright as i don't have a clue?

yeah as long as you select d2s bulb type and 4300k itll fit fine. Bit pricey though.

Cheers pal... its the cheapest i could find from the uk

I was thinking about getting a set of these headlights. Does anyone know if there is a way to convert normal H7 HID (as I have these already) to D2s or would I be as well purchasing a new D2s kit?

If your gonna spend the money on the headlights then may aswell spend the money on the correct hid kit :)

Or get some genuine ones, like mine ;)

You can just get the D2S adapters and bulbs then use your current ballests

Just had a quick look at one of the kits above and noticed it is the same as mine except it has the adapters and different bulbs. Need to go and price up adapters and bulbs to see if it is worth just buying a new kit.

Cheers

If I'm honest there was very little money in it for me, so I went with a new kit and have the old as spare if one packs up.
