On advice of other threads I've seen I've ordered some Collinite 845. After a wash with AG shampoo should I use AG resin polish 1st or just go straight in with the 845? How many coats should I apply and how long between them? If it's longer than straight away do I then wash with AG shampoo 1st to make sure no dust/grit has settled on the old dear in between

Not sure how 476s compares to 845, but I use a Megs pad for applying the wax and only leave on for about 15 minutes (in the summer) before wiping off. Any longer and it goes rock hard. In the winter, can probably be left longer to "soak in"

I love this stuff! One of the best LSP's.

Use AG Super Resin Polish first. Work in 12" by 12" sections until the polish starts to go a bit tacky, you'll feel as though the applicator pad is grabbing on the polish a bit. At this point you have worked the polish.

Once you have done the whole car, buff off.

There is no cure time between taking off SRP and applying 845.

I find it's best to warm the bottle of 845 in a bucket of warm water. Shake the bottle well to ensure a nice consistent liquid.

Apply very very thinly to entire body of car. Use the swipe test to check when it's ready to buff off. Leave about 24 hours between coats.

Wash the vehicle between coats if you drive it. If you don't use the car however, a QD (quick detailer), will be enough to clean the car.

One other thing, try to be at the buff off stage a couple of hours before the dew point. Otherwise the bonding of the sealant may be compromised.

No need to use AG resin, wash dry and apply super thin coats of 845.
