At the time I bought it the Furby as a reasonable deal. Not the cheapest car around by any stretch but for what I wanted (and what Mrs would allow ) it wasn't bad

That Vauxhall deal should prove popular though, that's pretty much unbeatable. Vauxhall is making a big effort at the moment to improve their cars & image, seems like they may be making inroads there then

A few months back there were very good deals on previous shape Focuses but I think they have all gone now.

At under 10k for a fairly high spec car they were an absolute steal.

Your best bet for a bargain skoda would be to see what old shape octys get pre-registered coming up to the end of the quarter , as there are apparently still some around. An L&K PD130 for the right price would be a bargain for someone.

Very well, easily as fast as my Tdi 100 furby, handles like a go cart and alot quieter as well. Its the 1.7 CDti common rail engine (100bhp).

The Build quality seems on par with the Fabia too, all in all a lot nicer car than the anti vauxhall brigade think...I seem to remember similar when I bought the fabia most people said ...what you bought a skoda for?
