Looking to get a VRS - VK61 FPZ anyone?

Featured Replies

Hello

Looking to get a Fabia VRS and quite interested in the reg above, anyone owed this one?

If the price difference between a brand new one and a one year old is £2.5k what would people do? Doesn't seem like a huge difference, but every penny helps.

depends on condition, colour, mileage and any optional extras fitted and if the car is required urgently or not.

Rob get as much history about this car before you purchase, then your decision will be better made possibly this vehicle is known here, personally £2-5k isn't a lot of money I would go for a new one, what's the mileage anything done mechanically? Have a look in documents

Thank you, I have heard some horror stories of older ones. Spec is pretty similar to what I'd order, this is up for £12,800 and I've been quoted £15,300 for a new one with the zero VAT and that's without any discount.

Car isn't required urgently, happy to wait.

Best getting new then? Is there some update to the newer engines to minimise oil loss?

Oil loss ? Never heard of any oil loss in the fabia vrs ? Where did you get that from ? :)

Speak to Skoda UK, there contact is on the Skoda website, ask them if there any known concerns with the vehicle or previous warranty claims made against the registration.

I have to just interrupt here and say for definite have a look no drivethedeal as i picked up mine for £13,900 (brand new from factory) with the basic specs of a vrs.. Wish i'd have gone for more extras but such a great car!
