I successfully replaced the brushes on a Felicia 1.3 alternator 6 years ago but cannot find a source now. The brush springs also need replacing. Any suggestions please?

Well, sorry to be vague, but as an option to you, my local motor factors charge £90 for both the 70a and the 90a alternator, but this is with the surcharge for the old alternator. This was for the 1.6 though.

You may struggle to get just the brushes, I'm unfamiliar with the parts availability with the 1.3

Brush assembly is part of the voltage regulator.

The latter is very cheap and should not be a problem buying it. Unless you're Scottish, of course

try e-bay ,i just got some for my pickup £12.50 for the brushes +the rectifier thingy

I usually buy parts from Czech online shops.
