Sorry if i'm being dumb, i don't know if i've missed it up untill now,

but i've just noticed that when i change the temperature settings the fan speed is changing to.

Is this normal or have i done something?

Yes perfectly normal. Because it it needs higher speed to help rise or lower the heat.
