Electrical gremlins

Featured Replies

On monday I filled the car up with diseasile and the 'one touch' system stopped working on the drivers window. I tried all the other windows and they worked fine so I turned the engine off waited 5 secs and started it again. The 'one touch' system was working again on all the windows. No fault codes.

Also this morning when I was getting ready to take the car to the stealers the hazard lights were flashing as if the alarm was going off but the horn wasn't. Before I could grab my car keys to try locking and unlocking thecar the hazards went off on thier own. Again no fault codes.

Does anyone have any ideas because the stealers are at a loss.

The window could have been because of a bit of grit or dirt on the window or in the mech. The hazards might have been the alarm and your horns disconected and it timed out when turned off.

Dying battery ?

Could you explain what you mean by the horns disconnected and it timed out?

Is it simple or an I just being thick lol?

The alarm horn is the Alarm, so if it is not plugged in how would the car trigger the indicators
