I installed an after market radio but speaker wire was loose, so I tried to take it out and it must have a short as the ignition wire burned out a bit on the stereo. I bought new leads and rewired stereo but it does not work. All fuses OK and radio was check by Halford and is working, what could be the problem????

Since then the interior light does not come on when the ignition is switched of as before, is this in any way connected???

Please help !!!!
