Featured Replies

Hi guys....wandered if i could use your extensive wisdom on a niggling problem i have at the mo with my 2001 vrs....been having a bit of trouble recently with car idling very lumpy after driving the other day car went a bit haywire and the revs would pulse up and down if you restarted after a run also noticed that temperature gauge was acting funny sitting at 90c then would drop too nearly cold then go back up again slowly....read up on here and tried CTS like a few people so replaced it from a local car parts place replaced it on sunday easily as described and everything seemed ok....drove car this morning and temperature gauge dropped again and then back up too normal and steyed there for a bit then dropped again....also in the problem occurred my secondary air pump doesnt come on when starting from stone cold and my cooling fans are in constantly thought the new sensor might of cured this but no joy...theres no codes cause had it read by mate who works at a garage.....any advice would help from you guys cause im no genius when it comes too cars...

It's essential to use a genuine VAG CTS as pattern part CTS's generally don't work correctly or fail quickly. Do the fans stay on when your climate control is set to Econ?
