CS:GO Anyone?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Used to waste endless hours (months) on 1.6, recently bought the CS package including CS:GO for a whole of £5.xx.

Anyone on here play too?

It seems things are a little slicker now, definitely more eye candy about. Not as raw as 1.6 but I guess that's a good thing and it kind of levels the playing field a bit. Don't get me wrong its nothing like mw3 bf3 etc games. You still need to aim (and fast internet connection) to get kills  .

P.s.

Feel free to add me if your bored, username: ||k2o||

Played it for 30 minutes.

Preferred 1.6. And that is saying something.

Its not as bad as BF3 though. :giggle:

Gotta spend a little longer than that to appreciate it imo, I felt like that at first.

Things I've noticed is that they have increased time of recovery from movement so you'll need to wait that little split second extra for the crosshairs to come back. ofc once you get the timing back it feels pretty similar to 1.6. thats after getting used to the weapons again. I also find the spray and pray approach seems to work a little better for cheaper guns and not too well with ak/m4 etc..

Im experimenting with the fire grenades and the one shot tazer weapon.....

I never touched counter strike. I suck so badly at other FPS games against real people that I figured CS would just be a bad idea. I'll just stick to openarena.
