Suspension knock

Featured Replies

Comming from the feont left of the car, had my mate look at it, no play in the ball joints, console bushes are 6k miles old, been lowered for 3k miles on eibach springs, shockie looks fine.

Mechanic said it could be strut top? Any advice opinions welcome!

id go for strut top, or arb bushes/drop links

most likely are bushes and drop links

luke

the anti roll bar drop links are well known for knocking too, even when they feel ok

Funnily enough I have something similar and I'm getting tyres fitted and going to have them take a look.

Maybe it's the bearing did you fit new mounts and bearings? Or its lose check the 3 bolts.

Nope jist changed over the springs, will check the drop links etc later on!

I only discovered it was my drop link by trying to remove it so I could re-check the torque, when I tried to do so I found the thread had been worn by the ARB and the nut would spin, took a set of nut splitters to get it off.

Duplicate post :)

My drop link sheared off when i tried to tighten it. Not impressed when it was half 8 at night
