Have you tried Skoda dealers, some Mafs arent as expensive as you might think

They are available on exchange through your dealer at a fraction of the price when new as Stuart says. Alternatively try Eurocarparts below:

just fitted the new MAF and the car feels excellent.just bought a power chip also so i'm looking forward to the extra power...

Tuning box?

Im pretty sure you will enjoy it. I had a customer once who swore blind I had somehow remapped thier car whilst in for a service, all I did was spot the air mass meter was knackered and replaced it. They didnt know anything was wrong and wondered why it now actually accelerated.

Sounds like there should be a separate thread for the MAF. Has anyone not had problems with theirs?

On a TDI? Me, no problems so far.

well i fitted the tuning box this afternoon and i'm well impressed, when i was younger i would never have thought i'd have a skoda(no insult intended) especially one that would wheel spin in second gear...now i've just got to fix the aircon that packed up the other day, hopefully a fuse.

cheers guys

steve.

Skodas have come a long way for sure ;)
