Hey

I thought this might be a great place to get advice as i've decided to finaly get myself not just behind the wheel but into the mechanics and servicing of my car.

Im pretty fed up of going to mechanics with little things such as changing my break pads and because im female they think its ok to fob me off telling me a million and one things are wrong and ripping me off with prices.

My first 2 tasks are

tighting my handbreak and checking my break pads (they arent quite as responsive as they use to be so im thinking they may be ready for a change)

Any advice at all would be appreciated.

Thanks

Becca x

P.s. im not going into this completely blind i do know little bits but not a great deal and my other half isnt bad with his own car (Mazda not skoda though)

Welcome to the madhouse......... :giggle:

MKI or MKII Fabia???....

Haynes do a manual for the MKI......think is about 90% of the running gear is MKI Fabia...so that should give you a "guide"
