unplugged map sensor

every one again

i put a thread on yesterday about my turbo and that i could hear it and that i had found a sensor that been unplugged

I've been looking i found out that the sensor that had been unplugged was the MAP sensor.

would this be the reason that now its plugged back in i can hear the turbo spool up under hard acceleration and the car seems to have more boost and power when the turbo cuts in
