Did anyone end up with my VRS?

Featured Replies

I've been popping on every so often but never spotted a thread from a new owner.

Black VRS mkII, reg ends with 'vro'.

Reason for asking: I found my Bluefin in the loft and stuck it on eBay, where it will go for peanuts for not being reset. I still have stage 1, stage 2, stage 2+ and de-cat versions of each map which could be used with it... Would far rather the new owner had it for peanuts :) (or for free, to stop me being told off for posting a non freedom for sale topic!)

Hope everyone is well and happy new year.

Tim.

How did you part with your old car? If you part exchanged it couldn't you just give the Bluefin to the dealer and ask them to pass it on? Or ask the dealer to get the new owner to get in touch with you? Failing that, I think you can request details of the current registered keeper from the DVLA.

Peanuts or free you say.......?

Yes, I've got it. Bought it recently though you probably wouldn't recognise it as it's a completely different colour.

Also, a different registration number :p

Well, you gotta try!

I thought "what a stroke of luck", until I got to the third line !

Ha Ha I thought the same, then thought smart guy nice try

Heh, should've known ;)

Nice idea JulieD but it was just a passing thought, I'm not really that bothered. The car was traded at a non-Skoda dealer and I was playing down all the mods at the time, hence why the Bluefin was kept. Given the kit that went with the car I'm amazed the new owner didn't turn up at some point!
