Had a quick search and seems like GFs driver window regulator is kaput! she lowered her window today and it thought she broke the glass due to the cracking sound.

She came home and i had a look. seems like the clips have come away from the glass.

What are the chances it was just the clips, or would the crunching sound be the wires getting chewed?

I couldnt find any guides on here (searched for regulator guide how to etc)

anyone help??

So stripped the door today after fitting a black floor carpet.

The wire has just mangled it's self with only 1 broken clip. Have removed it all and propped the window up with 2 bits of wood in the meantime.

Handy enough job fitting one of those eBay kits?
