Advice on router / wireless setup...

Featured Replies

Looking at a new wireless router for home use. Budget up to £45, I have these two in mind at the moment:

Buffalo Airstation Nfiniti WHR-HP-G300N

and

TP Link TL-WR841N N300

Any comments on either, or suggested alternatives?

Chris

The buffalo gets pretty good reviews... gets bonus points from me as it can run DD-WRT firmware lol

I will second that. Good router.

Thanks for the input folks. The Buffalo looks to be very good, the high power output could possibly improve speeds when the airwaves are busy round here too. Only problem is that the USB dongle receiving end seems to have issues in Linux. That and the two together come out at well over double the price of the TP Link setup.
