Fabia greenline lead time ?

Featured Replies

Does anyone have an idea of the real delivery time at present for Fabia estates..especially the greenline model ?

Thanks

Steve

Depending on how flexible with colours, spec etc you should be able to find one ready to go (sitting at port).

Have a word with your dealer to see if they can find anything to match what you are looking for.

That does surprise me I thought all skodas were factory order

If the customer is open to colour/spec, Skoda do produce a handful available in free stock.

Should the customer not want to wait and is flexible there may be a car ready and waiting - 2 weeks ish, rather than 12 weeks factory order.

Does that go for most fabia models?

yep, dealers can look at the system and see stock vehicles and cancelled orders to far through the system to be stopped

i got my GLII estate in 2 weeks rather the 8-10 weeks as one was same colour i wanted but with parking sensors(which was a nice to have option for me)

mine was actually heading to another dealer for stock, my dealer rang them and did a deal to swap a yeti they had on order for stock for the GLII (or that was the story i was told)

if you are not to choosy about colour or lots of extras you can save weeks

ask the dealer, they will normally let you see the screen as they trawl through the system

Got my Greenline II hatchback from stock as well -the only 1 available at the time (no options). Build time was 6 months when I bought mine due to a fire at the factory and VW hogging all the engines for the Polo Bluemotion

I guess though cars like the yeti are factory order only

Nope.

There is a selection of all models and specs on the dealer system in various stages between due for build and arrived and waiting in the UK.

Even models with decent lead times.

As said, you just need to be a bit flexible.

We got a Fabia SE estate in a few weeks, because we were prepared to accept the dull blue colour.

The more popular options tend to get claimed by dealers for customers quickly, but if a car on there suits you it could be yours in a few weeks.

I was looking for a petrol DSG Yeti at the weekend, if I'd wanted a diesel DSG I could have had one pronto. :)
