I had this light, the one that looks like an engine. I took it to a skoda specialist and they fitted a new evap  solenoid and then the light was off and car felt and sounded better. 

but a week later the light has come back on, does anyone have an idea of what it could be this time?

Lambda probe?

Have u had this problem? I guess I will have to take it back to the garage.

What was the fault code?

If the EML is activated it logs a fault which should pinpoint the cause and (in theory) avoid the expensive and unneccesary 'trial and error' mentality most garages seem to adopt these days.

On my V5 Golf about 9 years ago. Could be any number of things I guess you need a diagnostic check.

I don't know wot fault code was. yer I guess I'm gonna have to pay out to get it looked at again
