Fabia monte Carlo 61 plate.

Featured Replies

Had the car just over a year now with no problems. But these past few weeks when I unlock the car (double press on the fob) if I head straight to the boot it will not open. The only way to get it open is to open one of the rear doors, close it, and then try the boot again and it then opens.... any ideas?

thanks

Hold the centre key of the fob a for a few secs and the boot pops open

Also when doing this way while the cars is lock, the boot will auto lock when you close (just make sure the keys stay on you and not in the car

Off topic, but what is a "61 plate"? I see all these references to "59" or "61" plates, and I'm buggered if I can work out what they are...

Its the year the car was registered

05 for example is march 2005

55 is september 2005

Look at your reg plate the 3rd and 4th digits depict the year

OzFabia, here it is.

(they made it so that the plates would read '12' in 2012 for the 2012 Olympics, not that it mattered much.

Well maybe not really, but here is the story.)

Ah, thanks. No wonder it wasn't computing.
