Sat Nav Update - Now No Sound

Did latest update to PID and now lost all sound on unit. Speaker just crackles when Navigating or when trying to make phone call. Playing music tracks and there's just silence !!

Anyone else experienced this or is it a trip to the stealers ?

Try a hard reset. Hold the off button while pressing the reset. Were you good and did a backup before updating so that you can always go back to the previous version

Yes Liam2, only way round it was Factory reset in Navigon Fresh. Now working again but has old Skoda badge as Splash screen. Anyone care to attach the new splash screen on a reply ?

Faults with windscreen wipers and lane assist

My 2023 Fabia started throwing up two faults. First the windshield wipers stop working and there's a fault about that. So far I have been able to get them started again by turning them on and off a few times. Then another fault happens in rapid succession and the lane assist stops working. I have an extended warranty until September but the dealer suggested it might be out of warranty because I recently had an oil service, MOT, and new tyres fitted at a local garage. Any advice welcome.

I have a rattle as stated above, we diagnosed it today as front brake pads rattling in the carriers. 2014 Fabia vrs, proving very difficult to source oem correct new carriers in red, I have ordered some from Autodoc and will paint them before we fit them It initially sounded like exhaust contacting chassis or loose subframe fasteners

Hi we recently bought a nearly new 2025 Skoda Enjaq 2025 85X and three weeks ago the following happened to my wife on a flat car park: I reversed into a parking space with empty spaces each side of the car. I elevated the P switch to red light position. I opened driver door and screen was on Goodbye. I got out of car and closed driver door. I opened rear right passenger door to remove a bag. Closed that door. Remembered I needed to turn off Interior Monitoring as dog was in the boot. Opened

Hello, I have a problem with my Mk3 2016 Superb. The AC doesnt cool enough, the radiator is indeed flat and dirty, but i suspect the compressor too. Did you have this problem? How can i diagnosis it better? Thx

Hi Need some advice on this whistling sound... It's a 2010 superb MK2 with 2.0tdi pd140 engine...200k/miles. There was a very faint whistling on acceleration/reving but had become louder. The car is in need of a new dual mass flywheel but what I'm trying to figure out (budget for ) is this noise...does it sound like a vacuum/boost issue OR do I possibly have a failing turbo? I am booked for the dmf in a couple of weeks time but need a heads up because funds are tight. If it is a vacuum or boost
