emissions workshop light on info panel

Featured Replies

Started the car this morning and the engine management light came on with "emmisions workshop" highlighted in the info screen, i've done a bit of digging about and been told it could be a multitude of things from exhaust sensors to manifold inlet motor ?????.Anybody got any light to shed or experienced similar issues could be a massive help to me cheers.

just had this on my superb.

brake lights worked fine but when put

on the computer it said it was kaput.

brought from trade part specialists for

less than a tenner for the brake light sensor

and when fitted it just went off no need to clear

again on vag com.

after reading what others have put i must add

that changing this sensor is quite a quick job

and not too challenging.15 minute job

Big J 54 : Have you resolved the emmisions workshop light ? mine has too this today.

Had this on mine in December. Tiptronic box wouldn't select gear properly and Skoda diagnosed a switch on the transmission. When questioned about the 'Emissions Workshop' light the head technician told me it was how the diagnostic circuit is wired up. So it might be something you wouldn't expect.
