Well today had to remove all the taxi equipment from the octavia today as its going away tomorrow and traded in for a superb. Had it for nearly 5 years come February since it was new. When I came home earlier on thought to myself "that's the last time I'l drive it into the driveway" and when i went to the fuel station thats the last time il put diesel in it, amazing how you can become so attached to cars even though its just a pice of metal. and how good it was in the snow very sad to see the wee car go hope it finds a good new home and the person takes care of it

by far the best taxi ever... over in Athens there are still plenty of them with 600.000km in greek roads, there is also a version that has different mirrors, they look like they are from the 2005 octavia, and 2 years ago a guy i know bought the old shape (brand new 0 km), instead of the new one. You will miss it when you go to the garage, thats for sure

its got 109,000 miles on it so not to bad for a 5 year old taxi, but my council only allow the taxis on for 5 years and then have to be replaced and now getting a brand new 1.6 TDI superb s spec been quite exited about it for the last few weeks but now quite sad that the octavia is going

agree with you there I've had three octy TDI's but only kept the other 2 for three years and this one I kept for 5 years they are good cars and very reliable and the latest you can get one over here is a 09 plate as far as i'v seen and wish skoda still made it if they did I wouldn't hesitate in buying it but this time decided to get a change of car

Really sad day because when we have something we just addicted that thing same was with me when I sell my car still I miss my first car but its o.k that was 5 year old and your have already drive many more miles by that so.... buy new one
