Does the Octavia 1.9TD 90bhp has fixed or variable vanes on turbo?

Does it have an Intercooler?

If the battery is disconnected will the car loose all sorts of settings and will the radio need re-coding, its the standard skoda radio, I had the car when it was 3 months old but have not got a code for the radio.

My 1.9 90bhp Mk1 and the variable (VNT). I know this because they suffered the 'sticking vanes' problem.

Can't remember if you have to re code the radio, if so the code should have been with the handbook.
