I need some help on the following please:

1) I posted earlier about removing the underseat storage compartment under passenger seat it has only got one screw which I have removed but it still wont shift and I would rather not just yank it

2) Secondly I need another cigarette lighter for power in the vehicle (already have the bits for it came out of my astra) problem is the car is too well built I can not find a way into the car from the engine compartment. I know some of you have powered amps from the battery how did you get the leads through. Where is the pollen filter what does it look like and i will try and find the grommit there.

I need to sort these problems by Tuesday morning for work.

Oh for a haynes manual that shows things

I ran the cable for my amp through a grommit in the bulk head that is just under the tray that the washer jets sit on, on the passenger side. A nice wire coat hanger and a torx bit for removing the glove box will help! There is a guide on here somewhere... :)

And Steve you are right the sound proofing on my all be it petrol astra was none existant and I was screaming blue murder about the build quality yesterday all I wanted was a slight gap!!!!

I've fitted a four way extension lead bought from Halfords - fixes via adhesive pads underneath the heater controls - then lead runs down alongside drivers seat to plug into existing socket. The plug also has a pushbutton on/off switch on the top.

Currently powering RA2 + mobile phone - with spares for tyre compressor (though I usually unplug the adaptor and use the original socket for convenience), rechargable torch and possible satnav.
