Skoda felicia starting problems

Featured Replies

hi all

my 13 year old skoda felicia is having some problems starting up for the past 2 days sometimes he will start just fine but it mostly happens when ive recently tuned him off and am trying to get it started after a few minutes.

its very similar to this :

i changes the sparkling plugs but it didnt get any better .

any ideas ?

ps.sorry for my bad english :)

It is not quite clear what you're saying.

Is your car not starting when the engine is still warm?

Or is it not starting when it is stone cold (in the morning)?

Either way, it seems temperature related, that points to temperature sensor, maybe crank sensor.

basicly the car is fine in the morning doesnt matter if its cold weatheror not .... but if if i drive it to the store and come back in 5 minutes it wil have this problem .

If i havent used the car for 1-2 hours he starts fine .

sensor on gear box

My old Felly used to do this. If stopped within the first mile from cold start it was often a pig to get started again. Never really resolved just avoided this scenario!! ;)
