VCDS Lite and controllers?

Featured Replies

Hi,

The Ross Tech site states to ensure that the product works for all your controllers before purchasing a licence.

I've tried mine in my Octavia with my Gendan cable and a good few are not found.

As I am not sure which ones should be found, does anyone have a list of what controllers should be found in my car.?

TIA

When you do an autoscan you will have a list of controllers fitted to the car, does your VCDS Lite open all of these controllers? pretty sure this is what Ross-Tech are referring to, no car has all of the controllers fitted, but those that are fitted should all open.

iirc during the autoscan, any controller which cannot be opened should be listed in the log output

Cheers, I'll give that a go and see what it produces.

Autoscan isn't an option for the shareware version.

These are the controllers my previous Octavia I 1.8T 4X4 was fitted with:

01 - Engine

03 - ABS

08 - Auto HVAC

15 - Airbags

17 - Instruments

19 - CAN Gateway

22 - AWD (ie Haldex)

25 - Immobiliser

46 - Central Conv

56 - Radio

I thought I had seen that somewhere before Denis

I am just used to the ‘full fat’ version…. plug in, autoscan, save, clear faults, do adaptations..etc

All the more reason to support Ross-Tech.
