roof sunglass holder broke...

Featured Replies

Got in the car the other day and the roof sunglass holder was open, so tried to close it but it wouldn't catch... Had a look and the little bit of plastic that locks has broken off.

Never use it but needs sorted as I can see out my review mirror...

Anyway seems to be part no 1Z0868565F47H and found it on ebay for £25.49 anyone know where I can get it cheaper. Need to speak to the dealer on the off chance they've got a better price.

Might just super glue its closed as its never used.

Scrap yard.

I fancy having one of those. Easy to fit?

Yep, it's a five minute job. Unclip the existing panel, swap over the alarm module and clip in place.

Got mine from my main dealer - I surprised how cheap it was but that was a few years ago.

A word of warning - it's not compatible with sunroofs though.

Cheers,

Andrew

Mine has a sunroof and a sunglasses holder. ;)

Interesting - when I got mine (3+ years ago) the dealer asked if I had a sunroof. I don't but assumed it was that the sunroof open/close switch was in the same area.

I had made the same assumption, but happily I have no sunroof either

have you tried a dealer ;)

I have the same issue, is there a video someone can post or more detailed instructions?
