Hey all,

took the plunge and bought myself a Columbus!

just wondering if any of you have the part number for the brushed alu trim thats on the FL models of VRS before the Carbon effect came out?

Hi Darren, I just got one of these last week for mine,

Part no I ordered was

1z0858069bk2au

It was quite expensive, 58 euro plus vat, got it for 60 euro all in,

1Z0 858 069 DF DF1 - light tonal brushed finish

Sorry about that, the one I ordered was a silver aluminium effect trim, the same finish as my vRS had, has your trim got a different type finish to the normal silver?

Yeah mate, its a brushed finish, rather than flat silver

Surprising mpg Octavia Estate

On a journey from Cotswolds to Mid Wales (109 miles), I achieved 69mpg. Anyone else achieving similar returns? Journey was part motorway - M5, Gloucester to Worcester South - then Kidderminster, Bridgenorth, Shrewsbury. Cheers

Hello everyone, Recently, I had to replace both the front and rear CV joints on the prop shaft due to vibrations coming from the AWD system. While inspecting the driveshaft, I noticed that the center support bearing (carrier bearing) is completely worn out and has excessive play in all directions. Has anyone here gone through the procedure of replacing the center support bearing on a Skoda Superb Mk3 2.0 TDI 4x4? Is the bearing available separately, or does it only come as part of the complete

Hi, Not having much joy resolving my ABS issues. SKODA SUPERB (3V3) 2.0 TDI (110 kW / 150 hp), 2016, 150K miles ABS issues started with poor battery on start, battery has been replaced and coded, issue remains. Can see issue is with rear left, on my reader due to wheel speed being 1/3 the other wheels. Fault would appear after 25 meters of driving. Replaced rear left sensor and wheel bearing (magnetic ring mostly disintegrated). Now 0 wheel speed on rear left. 10.5 volts on FL, RR and RL
