guys i noticed my low beam on one side was poor , looked at it earlier and the bulb is loose as the spring is missing.anyone know the part number for the spring? its a 2007 1.9 td.

found it lol its 3U0 941 160 but it looks like its not gona fit. anyone eer replace one before? where does it clip in?

Check from the opposite light unit. It should clip into some holes and then the upper part behind some edge. But don't take my talk as gold. I maybe lying...

The spring goes on top of the bulb connector, then the ends go under the tabs on the reflector.

But my first thought when I read post topic was "oww.. my fingers"

Fitting a new one can be a real pain figuratively and literally.

thanks guys for the replies, the reason i asked is te spring i picked up yesterday looks completly different to the otherside. recon i will have to take out the headlight to haave a good go at it.

Your low beam is halogen or xenon?

Or does it make any difference after all?

EDIT: Sorry, but it seems you have bought a clip that holds down the plastic cover for bulb. Look the cover spring, it should look same, not the bulb one.

EDIT 2: And it seems, that if you have xenon, then the spring is with headlight assembly. So you better take the head light out and look for it. I think it's somewhere there, still wondering around.
