Hi all random ask do or do you know anyone with or know where I can get a wiring diagram for a 02 plate octavia vrs any help most appreciated

What part of wiring do you need help with?, is this hatch or estate?. Wiring diagrams are extremely hard to come by, but I might be able to help with what you need.

Its a hatch and need to locate one to help with the wiring to do with all the instrument and other bits that illuminate when the lights are switched on as none of the backlighting functions

None of the backlighting works anywhere, including the switches around the car, or just the dash and climate controls?.

Have you checked that the connector on the dimmer control is securely fitted?. Have you done any checking to the amplifier unit just above it?.

I have had the dash in bits no backlighting on anything only warning symbols still work. Have replaced said lighting amp and still nothing has started turning on every so often recently so have a loose connection somewhere and have taken the switches out tried them in another mk4 platform and they worked spot on also tried the ones from said vehicle and same issue in mine nothing lit up

Had similar problem with mine although they did occasionally work, fitted a second hand headlight switch and dimmer/headlight level switch and its been fine since, unfortunately I didn't try the switches individually so not sure which one was at fault.
