Black/silver badges

Featured Replies

I've got a Citigo front bonnet badge and matching wheel centre caps, but can't find a rear door badge.

My existing rear badge is showing signs of aluminium corrosion and I'm looking to replace, but the newer models at my local dealer all seem to have Citigo size badges front and rear.

I seem to recall there is a guy who can source resin badges - anyone know who he is?

I am fairly sure there is nothing available with the new logo for the rear as the Yeti ones are so much bigger than anything else in the Skoda range. Unless someone knows better. My suggestion would be to look at the Super Skoda site they have some covers that just have the footprint logo on and are available in a few colours. They cover the green current badge and will match better with what you have replaced

Yes, thanks, seen those but not to my taste. I'm looking at OEM appearance.

Apologies about double post, but our internet connection "vanishes" from time to time :wall:

Sounds like you want a PastyBoy badge - he's running a group buy at the moment (due to close on Monday) - http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/261364-new-year-new-pastybadge-group-buy-8/

You may be interested to learn that dealers have been instructed to replace Yeti tailgate badges when your car is in for service as a matter of course!

Mine was replaced last year because of 'white worm' but when it was serviced last week at Rainworth, yet another 'improved' badge was fitted!

Not seen any Yeti sized 'new' black and silver tailgate badges yet, though :(

Mine went in for service at the beginning of the month, whilst there it had the 'product enhancement' which is only the rear badge, the front one had as much white worm as the rear so they did that as well. I asked if the new style badges would fit and was told that rear ones were not available in the new style.

Hello Yety

Last time I was in the dealership which is only a couple of miles from where I live just to ask them a question,I was told the rear badge has to be changed due to corrosion issues.Even though the badge on mine looked fine, they insisted I have it changed. My request to keep the old one and give it to my nine year old was refused, and the explanation was that they have to return it to the main spare part depo.

As dbg put, it may be worth having a word with PastyNoy to see if there's something he can do for you.

Alternatively, and assuming it will be this year  , wait for the FL Yeti which will have the new badges (same size hopefully).

Thanks everyone - I'll ponder a bit before making a move.

My car has been in for it's first service, but the rear badge was not replaced despite advising them. I'm not bothered as a replacement will still corrode.

Anodised aluminium badges will always corrode some time down the line. The plastic front ones look good and will hopefully last longer.

Jerry, where did you take it?

Mine was at Sinclairs the other week and they replaced the rear one, although it had been done before, and is going back at the end of Feb for the front one to be done.

Black Pidgeon in Cardiff, but as already said, I'm not bovvered - it's only a cosmetic thing and totally irrelevant.

Resin badges are far better if I can source one. I have used a local supplier for MG badges, but they need a minimum order of 100
