Rear wiper removed

Featured Replies

I have had my rear wiper removed and looks good.

Has anyone else had this done, if so how did you stop the rear washer being accidently knocked?

Any pics sounds like this could be an idea due to all the motor failures..

What did u blank it off with

Could probably code the wipper out on vcds so if you caught the stork it would do anything

I put a gecleant.de glass blank in mine. Don't waste your money on any other brands of glass blank, particularly the ones venom sell - the fit and quality is terrible in comparison, you'd actually be better off with a pikey plastic one.

Disconnecting the wiper motor should stop the pump sending water to the rear but I coded mine out in vcds too.

Oh a note on glue. It's not just the best glass blank brand I learnt from bitter experience. I tried 3 different adhesives too. Best is one called Serious Glue. I got it from b&q and it's been perfect. I fitted it in 2010. Some other glues eat the black on the glass around the blank, others just fail. Don't use sealant.
