It's that time of the year when I start telephoning for insurance quotes.

As my Fabia tdi pd100 has/ is being modified I thought it would be interesting to find out 'sympathetic' insurance companies.

It might be interesting for Briskodians to compare quotes.

As this is difficult to do on a like for like basis I think we need to state:

Driver/s Age, Vehicle Type, Registration Date, No Claims Bonus (Yrs), Immobiliser/ Security, Modification list, Urban/ Rural Location, Town/ City Name, No. of Drivers, Accidents, Endorsements, Year Passed Test etc.

To gain any benefit by doing this we need to be extremely factual!

So Iam off to telephone Chris Knott and Adrian Flux for some quotes.

Yep, all mods including tuning box declared

I remapped my smart from 61hp to 90hp, fitted wider wheels, fitted upgraded ICE, removed the electronic speed limiter and changed air filters etc.
